How YouTube's New 'Seasons' Feature Could Redefine Creator Success in 2025

YouTube's Plan to Turn Creators into TV Networks (And Why Top Creators Are Already Adapting)

YouTube is adding something new called Primetime Channels. This lets people watch shows from places like SHOWTIME and Paramount+ right on YouTube.

But here’s what’s really cool for creators:

  1. TV-Style Shows Coming Soon: Later this year, YouTube will let creators make their videos look like TV shows with seasons and episodes - just like the big streaming services.
  2. Better Than Playlists: This new way to organize videos will look much nicer and be easier to use than the old playlist feature we have now.
  3. Big Screen Viewing: More people are watching YouTube on their TVs now instead of phones, and some smart creators, like Johnny Harris or Rhett and Link, are already making TV-quality shows.

The line between “YouTuber” and “TV producer” is fading. If you start making your videos more like TV episodes with clear seasons, YouTube might show them next to big Hollywood shows.

Learning AI Agents Will Be The Most Important Skill for 2025

The era of just asking ChatGPT simple questions is over, and the whole new world of AI agents is changing the creative landscape.

Here are a few ways to level up your AI game:

  1. Most people use AI like a helper that answers questions. But start thinking of ways to use agents to carry out tasks automatically and on repeat, or based on triggers.
  2. Think about having an army of AI that all specialize in different tasks like research, writing code, or scheduling content. The bigger the context window you force on a single agent, the bigger the margin for error.
  3. The AI agent hype has made big promises around getting rich quick. But the reality is that most agents are not that great yet. Instead of chasing the shiniest new AI toys, focus on solving problems that you have deep expertise in, with the AI we already have.

This change is the biggest opportunity for content creators since we first started using social media.

Don’t just use AI tools because everyone else is. This will just bloat your workflow.

Be strategic and focus on the tools that can assist in your bottleneck tasks.

Claude Adds Web Search Feature

Anthropic just launched web search for Claude, available now to all paid users in the United States with support for free users coming soon.

But this is a game-changer for those who’ve been split between platforms.

Before this, many creators have been using Claude as the preferred tool for copywriting, but had to rely on ChatGPT for reasoning with web search access.

But now Claude does both jobs at once.

If you’ve been paying for ChatGPT Plus just to get web search, but you prefer Claude’s writing, then you might be able to save money by only paying for one AI tool now.
